After a hiatus in throwing parties, we’re back with a monthly party series called #TRACKWERK at Ten Tigers Parlour, a bar in DC’s Petworth neighborhood that features comfortable seating, a beautiful outdoor patio, good food, and most importantly for us, an upstairs dance floor with a crisp yet powerful Martin Audio sound system.
The name #TRACKWERK is a pun that will resonate both with musicians and any DC resident who rides the Metro. The party vibe will be positive and laid-back, but at the same time conducive to dance. Our managing editor, Blinkhorn, will curate and be a regular DJ at #TRACKWERK, bringing in local talent each time, either from the Blisspop crew or from part of our extended family. The music will be centered around house and disco with a touch of techno, but we won’t limit ourselves to those genres.
#TRACKWERK will take place on the third Saturday of every month (except April 22, 2017), there will be no cover, and it’s a 21+ event. The inaugural #TRACKWERK on March 18 will feature Jacq Jill and Enamour DJing alongside Blinkhorn. RSVP to Blisspop Presents: #TRACKWERK 000 — we look forward to seeing you on the dance floor.
