Do you still have disco fever from this year’s Blisspop Disco Fest? This Saturday, October 6th The Blisspop Disco returns for another night at U Street Music Hall featuring DJ sets from disco artists, Breakbot and Irfane. They have support from Martin Miguel, a DC-based disco and house selector from Better Listen Records.
Breakbot is known for his breakout single, “Baby I’m Yours,†featuring the smooth vocals from his long time collaborator, Irfane. The song amassed viral notoriety from its 2012 animated music video which was composed of over two thousand watercolor frames.
This year, Breakbot released his latest EP, Another You, via Ed Banger Records. The five-track EP is devoted to showcasing disco and funk music in all its’ glory! It includes three original dance hits, a remix from nu-disco producer, Yuksek (we featured his music in week five of our Feedback Friday series), and a mix from Disco Dildo (what a name)!
