REVIEW | Hungry Music

The landscape of music in the chill out genre has grown exponentially in popularity thanks to the likes of heavy hitters such as Bonobo and Tycho. I’m confident that this genre will continue to soar in 2017. Today, Blisspop highlights a rising star of the chill genre: Hungry Music, a French electronic music label founded by three talented melodic techno/ deep house producers, Worakls, N’to, and Joachim Pastor.

What excites me is their capacity to perform live both individually and united as Hungry Band.

As an ensemble, they incorporate their skilled electronic productions and acoustic instrumentals. They are known to incorporate a variety of instrumentals including cello, viola, violin, guitar, percussions, and more.

The fusion of live instrumentals and beats is the future of electronic music, and offers a healthy antithesis to the largely over-produced, in-the-box EDM pop music that has amassed mainstream popularity. Incorporating acoustic instruments into electronic music is completely refreshing for listeners and makes the music come alive!
