Feature | Rabo & Snob feat. Soma – “Yawumna”

Tel-Aviv’s veteran disco duo Rabo & Snob recently dropped their official debut EP titled Yawumna, a Ghana influenced gem inspired by the pair’s trip to Accra’s main market to search for records and homemade percussions.

As expected, Yawumna gets right down to business by opening up with the title track featuring the African-laced vocals of DC resident Soma Iddrissu. Soma’s voice is powerful and pretty much demands listeners to try and understand each word while simultaneously vibing to the songs contemporary yet (somewhat) old school afro disco beat. Simply put; this song is a banger.

“Yawumna” is out now via Sleezey McQueen’s stellar imprint label, LoveDancing. Listen below.
