Chris Malinchak – Vilette EP

I’ve noticed that most of my recent posts have been spilling guts of NYC artists but I swear they’ve been impressing me more than any other music I listen too. I can’t resist. We now have a funky, nu disco producer for you by the name of Chris Malinchak. He has apparently been around for over 10 years under a variety of aliases, not including his classical training from the age of four, but more recognizably back in 2009 with remixes for Toni Braxton, Flo-rida, and even the theme song for Avatar.

Now with all of the previous productions set aside, it seems like Malinchak is now comfortable and dedicated enough to produce original work. In early 2011, he released a set of originals within the Renaissance EP and then grew to make his Make You Move EP at the beginning of summer. Evolving dance label French Express caught this dude early and have been releasing his previous work proudly, which has led them to let loose his third EP titled Vilette on October 5th. The three track mini-album compliments the lush house value that I’ve discovered after having his tunes on repeat for the past few weeks. Malinchak’s consistent and fluid dance music continues with this release as well as his determination seen in the frequency of production recently. Catch a whiff of all three EP’s below, then head over to his Soundcloud for the rest.
