Yes Giantess producer and Passion Pit synth-bro Ayad Al Adhamy (Bo Flex) made a serious dent in 2009, releasing a solid stock of high profile remixes including Phoenix’s 1901. Always looking out for our DC homies, we wanted to re-visit Bo Flex‘s remix of Keep It Cool by local favorite US Royalty. And if you’re in need of a guaranteed party starter, download the Sleepyhead remix as well (Fresh Prints approved).

Theophilus London‘s debut video Humdrum Town made its online premier today. Feathered with karaoke bars and moped rides, it’s no wonder Theo is the coolest kid in class. Theophilus London – Humdrum Town (mp3)

As far as Midwestern lo-fi indie-pop goes, Minneapolis duo Red Pens are the talk of the town. A recent wave of steller reviews helped them find a home on Grain Belt Records where they will be releasing their album Reasons on March 9th. Already garnering comparisons to Sonic Youth and The White Stripes, expect a lot from Red Pens in 2010. Red Pens – Children And The Kids (mp3)

French electro-baller Danger is gearing up to release his new EP titled 09/17 2007 later this month, and judging by the 16 bit teaser trailer and mp3 (see below), it will not disappoint. If you have a chance to see Danger live, DO NOT MISS OUT. I saw him in Berlin a while back and he absolutely destroyed it. Cop the teaser track as well as a classic Danger remix below.
