When Jerry Bouthier approached Gomma and inquired about making a compilation of Gomma Dance Tracks releases including 4 of his own edits, the label was quite receptive. Bouthier is a pioneer in the french DJ scene and is often grouped with the likes of Laurent Garnier and Dimitri From Paris. That is some top notch company if you ask me.
Bouthier is a member of the Parisian label Kitsune, which is well-known for their compilations. He succeeds with the Gomma edits by implementing a house-oriented vibe while not completely making them his own. I’m a big fan of the Twelves edit. Check them out below or go buy them Here.
