Party throwers and music blog Blisspop.com’s quarterly rager, BLISSPOP, returns with hometown heroes Tittsworth, Nadastrom, Will Eastman, Dmerit, special guest Le Castle Vania. Blisspop is a force to be reckoned with as it not only provokes it’s patrons to get intoxicated, in trouble and in love, it adds a fourth element: insanity. Blisspop showcases the best of D.C. electronic dance music, with the occasional addition of one or more international guests, guaranteeing a night of the most skillful of DJ sets alongside an insurmountable experience of peak energy and excitement.

We’re very pleased to have BLISS alum and one of our best musical buddies join resident DJ Will Eastman on the decks this month. Steve Hawley, front man of disco funk dance outfit CODEBREAKER will play slammin disco and house to uplift our hearts as we raise funds to help those affected by the earthquake in Haiti. A portion of proceeds from this month’s BLISS, Saturday January 23 at the Black Cat will benefit the International Red Cross. Local Chris Klang, who has been on the steady grind with parties at Sova and across DC, will start the party right with classic dance grooves and your new favorites. On Sunday, January 24 Fort Knox Recordings and Blisspop are teaming up to present a special benefit event to support relief efforts featuring some of DC’s finest dance music producers and DJs. Performing will be NADASTROM, FORT KNOX FIVE, WILL EASTMAN and STYLUS CHRIS, with special, surprise guests from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. at Modern in Georgetown. Many months in the making, I’m excited to announce my first single, Feelin’ will be released this Friday, November 27 on vinyl 12″ and as a Beatport exclusive. The single includes remixes by some of DC’s finest producers and DJs, Nadastrom, Tittsworth and Dmerit, and fully hits the digital shelves December 11 on iTunes, Amazon, etc. It’s released by Plant Music, the NYC dance music record label run by Dominique Keegan of The Glass and legendary NYC Hip-Hop radio DJ Stretch Armstrong.
We’re hosting a record release party at BLISS this Saturday, November 28. Yes Giantess (Neon Gold records) will join us on the decks along with my long-time friend, and stellar DJ Christine Moritz. Check out Yes Giantess’s track “Tuff N Stuff” here:
